BACKSTAGE PASS

For the past 5 years I have been engaged in an obsessive labor of love: creating a television program called Backstage Pass. While anyone who has ever seen the show might assume my personal responsibilities are limited to turning up to an interview and having a fabulous time with Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Tom Cruise or Hugh Jackman; this could not be further from the truth.

I almost single-handedly put the show together; from securing interviews in countries all over the world, arranging travel and accommodation; not to mention writing, producing and delivering a weekly television show to a major television network on a very restrictive budget. I can only dream of being Molly or Richard (both great blokes) who can just turn up and talk and hand the tapes to someone else. I don’t have a stylist or an assistant or a researcher. But I have experiences I wouldn’t trade for anything. I am about to take you behind the curtain and inside the drama of my life as a celebrity interviewer of an altogether unique kind.
